Lincoln by David Herbert Donald reviewed by Pastor LaMont Bonath.

The book focuses on the character development of Lincoln. It focuses on Lincoln's capacity for growth from his humble origins to the presidency. The author views Lincoln as basically passive by nature, yet willing to take enormous risks and overcome repeated defeats. I liked the development of Mary Lincoln's character.

I would recommend this book.
