Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with
such things as you have.
For he himself has said, "I will not leave you nor forsake you."

Our society seems to teach us to want the newest and best of everything. From a spiritual perspective this is a form of covetousness. Instead Christians are challenged to live a simple life. Ask yourself, "What do I really need?
I would also ask you to consider are there others who do not have what I call the basics of life: enough food, clothing and shelter. Would you be willing help Habitat for Humanity build a house for someone in need?
